The aim of this presentation is to share the effects of a year-long environmental justice-themed book club, which cultivated motivation for agency among sixth-grade gifted students. The students used a picture book publishing opportunity to share their perspective and voices as climate justice partners, calling them to a higher role as change agents in their community.
