An evaluator and a gifted education expert were discussing an article on evaluative thinking. As the evaluator described Patton’s reconceptualization of the term, the gifted expert recalled Sternberg’s theory of triarchic intelligence. In this conversation, we found indications of an unexplored relationship between evaluation and gifted education. Join us for a review of what we discovered in the conversation. (BYOB)
