Programs for Twice-Exceptional Leaners' Pathways to Success

Many youngsters are being identified as Twice Exceptional (2e). Their complex profiles of strengths and weaknesses require unique approaches to education. Meet a panel of educators from five schools which were designed to help 2e youngsters thrive. Each program features unique components that not only serve 2e students academically but provide enriched environments where 2e youngsters learn, grow, and develop socially and emotionally.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will gain information about creating programs that support 2e students holistically.
  • Participants will understand the complexities of 2e students and how their unique traits inform the teaching and learning process.
  • Participants will be able to provide a rationale for using strength-based, talent-focused education to create instructional strategies that both address students’ strengths while compensating for problematic challenges.
