Nearly 75% of high school students take at least one course linked to Career & Technical Education (CTE). Some are identified gifted, while most are likely talented. CTE, as an integral component of gifted programs/services, increases diversity, equity, and access. This engaging session offers real examples where talent is developed through advanced skill preparation for local and global markets.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will know how to integrate CTE programs into gifted programs and services.
Participants will be able to expand gifted programs and services to be more inclusive, diverse, and accessible.
Participants will understand the immediate need for recognizing and elevating non-traditional talents for personal and economic growth.
