As part of a newly awarded Javits grant, our team built a Summer Institute providing professional development to teachers, social workers, psychologists, and counselors. Spending the year embedding our team in the large, urban district, we designed professional development covering giftedness topics and pedagogical strategies focused on Twice-Exceptional students. Curriculum included strengths-based, talent-focused, inquiry-driven instruction leveraging their MTSS rollout.
