Voter turnout rates have plummeted, and many young citizens feel disconnected or cynical about politics. Our best and brightest must be engaged in the democratic process and equipped to solve the problems of tomorrow for the collective good. This session offers practical strategies to engage high-level students in meaningful activities that promote civic engagement and appreciation for the democratic process.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will take away adaptable, classroom-ready activities, along with enrichment possibilities and ideas for fostering lifelong civic engagement and citizenship in their students.
