Consciously Connecting to the Quantitative Strengths of GT Readers

Understanding and developing quantitative strength areas in all content areas leads gifted readers to deeper, richer thinking. This is a fast-paced session that defines and has educators practice quantitative strategies. Educators can go back the next day and implement these unique strategies that inspire gifted readers to engage in critical thinking while interacting with rich texts.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the term “quantitative reasoning” and how it can be used in various content areas.
  • Acquire ready-to-use lessons in multiple contents
  • Explore quantitative strategies that can be used in the literacy classroom and other content areas
