Review of gifted and talented programs is something we all know we should do but may not know how to do. Using a Google Sheets-based set of rubrics, we demonstrate how your team can self-assess the current state of your program and prioritize your next steps for continuous improvement. You’ll leave with everything needed to begin your local program review.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how to use the Google Sheets gifted and talented program review tool and protocol to assess the current state of a district’s gifted and talented program
  • Connect current best practices in gifted education to a practical and user-friendly formative program review process
  • Conduct a formative program review using tips for implementation and strategic planning resulting from the review process
