Makers on the Move is based on the use of mobile makerspaces in schools and how they are used as a tool for differentiation for multiple school populations. This session discusses the positive aspects of makerspaces, the use of makerspaces as a support tool for project-based learning (PBL), and how teachers can start a mobile makerspace in their schools.

Learning Objectives:

  • Design a mobile makerspace for use in the classroom.
  • Create differentiated lessons and activities using a mobile makerspace.
  • Apply mobile makerspace with problem-based learning.
